Position Overview  

As a Media Officer, you will play a crucial role in the creation and dissemination of multimedia material for QPL. The media you create will be the face for QPL and determine how people view and engage with the team

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management – Contribute to the management of social media channels by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages as needed.
• Video Production – Plan, shoot, and edit pictures and videos for various platforms, ensuring high-quality production values and adherence to brand guidelines and relevant trends.
• Graphic Design – Designing and Sourcing QPL Merchandise (uniform design, mission patches, decals, social media posters and graphics, rocket renders)
• Event Planning – Participate in the planning and execution of events, such as Aerospace Society Events and QPL Launch Day.
• Website Running & News – Manage the day-to-day operations of the QPL website, ensuring content is up to date, engaging, and aligns with organizational goals.

Useful Skills

• • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Good communication skills and experienced in collaborative working
  • Basic photography skills
