Our journey began with a simple idea: to create a team that pushes the boundaries of aerospace innovation
By bringing together Northern Irelands scientific and engineering resources, we’re determined to lead the way with innovation and demonstrate to the world what Northern Ireland is capable of achieving.
The space sector presents exciting opportunities for science and exploration. By establishing a university rocketry program, our members can leverage this growing industry to gain hands-on experience and practical skills that will serve them for the rest of their careers.
We work with the Northern Irish Space Special Interest Group (NISSIG) to represent student’s place in the industry which they will graduate into. Through this medium, QPL directly engages with key stakeholders from industry and government.
QPL is also continuously liaising with Queen’s University Belfast to ensure that space is suitably covered by the curriculum of not only Aerospace Engineering but any program which has applications for the ever evolving space industry.
